While everybody is broadcasting their a week holiday, i already had mine. I went back to my lovely hometown 2 weeks ago, and had just celebrated my 28-year old birthday with my beloved one, yesterday.
My 28-year old birthday, celebrated with a horror movie, and an unexpected expensive Italian dining. I am the fan of the horror movie, and i had the recent horror movie yesterday, which is final destination 5. It was ten years ago when the first chapter of the series was out. I have never miss any chapters of final destination, because i love the stories that clarifying no one could escape from death, and even if you are the lucky one in this time, you would also be ended up with death by just another ways. Life is just too short to be sad.
We had our favorite movie and then heading to KLCC. I search through the internet that there is one British restaurant named Smoke House which is locating in Jalan Mayang, near KLCC. I got the basic route and the location of the restaurant from Google map, and then we started looking for the restaurant after we took one and half hour to arrive KLCC. We got lost and took another round patiently hoping that we can find the location of the restaurant. We finally got to the route based on our instinct and with the functioning GPS, we parked our car in the AmBank building, and walked towards Jalan Mayang to get the restaurant. The path road is quiet. We were not lucky enough that when we stood in front of the restaurant, it was already desolated (and got to know that it was moved to Bangsar) . The sky started turning into gray in the late afternoon time. We quickly reversed back to the T junction where we started the walk, and notice there is one Italian dining restaurant just at the corner of the T junction.
The Italian restaurant is conditionally romantic, but the captain was a bit rude. We were forced to order the Panna steam water. The food is in average level, but the portion is worth with the money paid. We ordered Rucola Salad as the starter, and Taglierini and Seafood Spaghetti as main course, lastly Chee Siang ordered a glass of Chardonnay for the drinks.
I feel very excited on my birth day. There is someone important who is willing to pour whole day time to celebrating this day, with me. I am lucky because i have a greatest man in the world. :)
Thanks to my lovely sister of remembering my birthday, although i purposely shut off the birthday notification in facebook.
Also, thank to God of granting me the best gift ever.
